How Mon Amie began
Mon Amie was born during the COVID‑19 pandemic, a time when Monika saw so many people quietly struggling with loneliness and emotional isolation.
The need for genuine companionship had rarely felt more apparent. It inspired her to create a matchmaking platform devoted to one purpose: helping people find meaningful, lasting relationships.
About Monika
Before founding Mon Amie, Monika worked as a travel agent with Sky Lord and InterGlobe, and served as Editor-in-Chief of Hot Bargains magazine.
That varied career, together with a genuine passion for understanding people, shapes the personal and thoughtful way she approaches matchmaking today. She gets to know each member herself, so every introduction begins with real understanding.
